It's a lakeside community off 97 off of Eagles Nest and Kanawha trail shots were fired in front of the community beach and a Thomas Williams was arrested and is being held without bond. He assaulted three victims that is all I have heard so far.

We're getting the report now; depending on its seriousness, we may not report it until Wednesday's crime report, but we'll see. Thanks for the tip!

I have police reports for the last year against Thomas Williams the most recent was shooting my car in Wateree Hills on March 18, 2012. if you would like to review just let me know.

OK, I did pick up the one from the other day. It was one amongst a bunch of others, so I didn't get a chance to look at his history. I'll try to do that Monday; likely reporting what happened in Wednesday's crime report.

By the way, despite what has been written here on this blog, we will not be using the suspect's name in the report. As we mention in our disclaimer at the end of every weekly crime report, subjects of incident reports are innocent until proven guilty. That's still true, even though deputies arrested him.

Rather, I should say we might not -- the use of his name in the newspaper will be decided after further review of the case and the charges against him.

I have no problem with that. I am safe for the first time in over a year.
